A particular pet peeve of mine is when people color Zim with blue eyes. Yes blue eyes. I don't know if this is how they see him, but I'm pretty sure some of the fans that draw him that way are either color blind or trying to make a modification on him.

His eyes are NOT blue. Get it through your skull! They are purple. I don't care if you're actually color blind and see them as blue, don't argue with me that they are blue because that's how you see it. Ask someone who isn't color blind who saw the show. They should tell you that his eyes are purple.

Edit: Okay, some of you think I still give a fuck about this. The underlying meaning behind this is the fact that some people will never own up to their colorblindness and call people stupid just because they're the only one out of their friends that see the colors differently. I will make a stamp on that. It needs to be done. :l

The possible reasons why people are still adamant they are blue:
It's either,
1. your eyes are colorblind OR,
2. Your TV/computer has crappy color display. If you still are pissed or insistent they are canonically blue, look through the comments. Majority believes the contacts are purple. Please don't argue into symantic details how they are possibly blue.
3. Or you could be deluding yourself into believing they are blue in order to romanticize Zim.
